Foursquare Tips

  • There's plenty of room to cozy up inside the bar with a juicy burger, chorizo empanadas or some calf fries and a local draft or cocktail made with Texas-born spirits--Uptowners are doing it in droves.
  • Always order directly at the bar as waiters out in the garden tend to take a while
  • The Rustic serves salt & pepper deviled eggs for only $5.95. A solid deviled egg win without using salmon, caviar, and yada. Just plain deviled eggs like everyones grandmother makes simple.
  • Dirt Floor with a Bada$$ patio.
  • Free pie for first-timers & birthdays! I thought I wasn't a pie fan until I tried this beast of a peanut butter slice.
  • Beer menu is good. Deviled eggs are too. Service was slow but hoping it's just a growing pain.
  • Get the pork ribs. Comes cut off the bone, perfectly seared and fork tender with a life changing chipotle pecan sauce. Umm mmm, Fat girl candy!!!! No picture... Ate it too fast.
  • My new favorite place! Can't wait to hang out on the patio on the Spring!
  • Ph 214-730-0596. Grand Opening Tonight 10/16/13. American comfort food w/BBQ. Live Country Music nightly. Pat Green is part owner.
  • Rustic Burger is amazing! Topped with delicious brisket
  • Cocktail menu = meh. Stick to the beers. Cactus ties were nice but too much salt in the ketchup.
  • THIS FRIDAY, 10/31 Salt-N-Pepa will make you wanna "Shoop" at The Rustic in Dallas. Tickets $26 in advance - http://therustic.com/event/salt-n-pepa/ #Halloween
  • Goblets suck! I want to smash all of them (after I finish the beer).
  • This BBQ spot has a dessert menu entirely made of pies.
  • Not as good as I thought it would be - too much hype for flavorless food and mediocre drinks. All overpriced.
  • But like...the deviled eggs.
  • Family style brunch is delicious. Great vibe for a Sunday afternoon
  • What's not good here, really. Just go and have a great time!
  • I frequent this place at least once in two weeks. The brunch menu is one of the best in town. If you plan to visit in the eve, try veggie burger. It's better than many!
  • Brunch is great, portions are large for one, but when ordering with multiple people they scale down to reasonable levels.
