Foursquare Tips

  • They have coffee here
  • This is a coffee snob's paradise. Coffee freshly roasted on-site. Baristas who know exactly what they're doing. Drinks prepared the way they're supposed to be. No corner cutting.
  • Great place to write. Internet, laptop, & I love the tea.
  • Hands down the best coffee in the area!Soothing, quaint place, I love it! Pick your bean or savor the house coffee you can't go wrong.
  • Buy a bag of freshly roasted coffee ($10). Ask Joel about the difference between a City + and a Full City roast.
  • adorroooooo
  • Soy decaf latte hits the spot. Also, check out the sitting area in the back. A small piece of paradise on Georgia Avenue.
  • They take coffee seriously. Real cold-brewed iced coffee. No skim milk available, though.
  • Lox aren't always available (it's a coffee shop btw), but the hand pours are where it's at!!
  • Get a cold brewed iced coffee. Amazing, and one of the only coffee shops in the city that makes it this way.
  • gotta have the Junk Juice
  • Check out the upstairs space, particularly when it's nice out. Those windows do open.
  • Drink a hand poured African coffee. Ask Joel about the roast.
  • Petworth gem! They roast their own coffee on site and the baristas are efficient in this small shop on Georgia Ave. Drip coffee sometimes leaves more to be desired but the pour overs are worth it!
  • Great coffee and pastries
  • The cold brew is fantastic. Really tasty light roast with a low acidity.
  • They also make an excellent Hot Chocolate.
  • Great coffee! Also they have bagels. Don't expect to get to sit down though.
  • The coffee is great, of course, but I could eat nothing but the salty oat cookies for the rest of my life and be very happy.
  • Good hummus bagels and coffee nice outdoor seating
