Foursquare Tips

  • just go for the mayan platter and don't be shy with the citric habanero salsa.. tortillas are handmade and crispy, delicious mayan cuisine.
  • You can order a la carte salbutes and panuchos even if they're not on the menu
  • The vegie trio (empanada, panuchos and salbutes) was eclectic, delicious and filing for the awesome price of $9. The complimentary chips (on the crunchier side) and salsas were also solid.
  • The Poc-Chuc, obviously, is fantastic. They'll even sub sauteed veggies if you don't eat rice.
  • Food is great. Service is AMAZING!!
  • damn good guac
  • the panuchos and salbutes are wonderful. this is one of my favorite restaurants in the mission. lunch in particular!
  • This place is amazing! Food is so good, cheap, and the dude gave us free guac, refrescas and bean pure to try. A must-go if you're near the Mission District. Shrimp tacos and braised pork were solid.
  • Try the Poc Chuc - #tasty
  • Panuchos!!!!!!!!!!!
  • No more BYOB at this spot, such a shame.
  • The poc chuc
  • The poc chuc was good
  • Poc chuc (pork), chimole de pavo (turkey in mole), appetizer platter. A little too salty but really tasty with the soft, thick homemade tortillas
  • Best no frills Mexican food. No burrito straight carne asada with veggies and tortilla
  • The Yucatecan food here has a little extra polish, thanks to the chef's higher-end training. The poc-chuc (marinated, grilled pork) is the dish to order.
  • The OG of San Francisco BYOBs, Poc Chuc has become a destination for their perfectly executed take on Mayan cuisine. The namesake poc chuc is stellar.
  • I had the poc-chic signature dish. Excellent food, great service, great value for the money.
  • Best Cochinita Pibill in town!
  • Best authentic Mexican restaurant in sf. Order cochinitas tacos. Atmosphere is so, so
