Foursquare Tips

  • Get Bella as your server. She rules.
  • Eat in the Elvis room!
  • Worst Mexican food!!! You people think this is Mexican??? Gross!!!!
  • Mama's is a rabbit warren of rooms, and tucked in the back like a secret is the bar. Chips and salsa so hot you must keep shoveling to quell the pain are an excellent base coat. bartenders friendly.
  • An Elvis room at a Mexican restaurant? Awesome.
  • Their salsa tastes like volcano piss.
  • The Elvis Presley burrito will knock you straight out of your Blue Suede shoes. Yum!!
  • Many dishes contain mushrooms. Ask.
  • Don't even bother going in. I'm from Texas so I may be expecting too much from a Mexican joint in Seattle. But the salsa was weak and the food bland and smothered with cheese.
  • I've been coming here for almost ! 15 yrs. And love it always
  • Order the Elvis Burrito. You will come back for it again.
  • bland food, bring extra salt
  • Bills itself as Seattle's oldest Mexican restaurant. Open since 1974, it knows how to change with the times. But Patrons still draw pictures and caricatures of Elvis on napkins. Happy hour 4-6:30
  • Feeling like you dont want to eat nasty food? Try the Mama's Big Salad with no dressing (dont worry about cheese, there isn't much on there). Its freaking awesome.
  • I always regret going here. Nothing feels homemade. The burritos might be the best but still not worth it.
  • Try not to fall in love! Fast service, good food.
  • Prawn & avocado tostada with black beans for the win!
  • Chile Verde burrito not too wet. Bursting with pork. Yum.
  • The chips and salsa are delicious.
  • Prawn Quesadilla, 'nuff said.
