Foursquare Tips

  • Try the Gulf-caught red snapper or cobia for lighter fare that doesn't skimp on flavor, or go whole hog with an antelope steak or mustard-roasted wild boar chop.
  • A hidden gem. Fantastic bar food, creative Texas-centric cocktails, and a comfortable space make this my favorite spot. The Texas! Texas! Margaret... my favorite cocktail. Jalapeo with a little bite!
  • It's actually pretty good. Everything we ordered was good. The service was fine. Don't be frightened away.
  • This place should be busier for how good (and affordable) the food is.
  • Hotel ICON's Line & Lariat will host a Mother's Day brunch buffet 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Try items like the buttermilk fried chicken & roast beef sirloin, as well as complimentary mimosas.
  • Never been, sounds interesting...live music?
  • Food is wonderful! Room for improvement with the service.
  • Don't miss the $5 happy hour deals weekdays from 2 until 7:00 p.m.
  • Food is okay. But when you consider it's like $30 plate you're probably better suited to going elsewhere. If you're from out of town, my recommendation is to pass on this place(for food)
  • Meh, food didn't live up to my hopes. Great atmosphere though.
  • One of the best cocktail menus in town. Beautiful, quiet space. Kudos to Houston (bartender)!
  • Average place, considering the cost & locale. Salad & tres leches were ok. Flat iron steak was tasty and cooked well. Service was good.
  • Chef David Luna's modern Texas fare at Line & Lariat showcases the best the Lone Star State has to offer, from surf to turf.
  • The L&L bar is in the center of the dining room serving up cocktails, regional draft beers, wine & a great daily happy hour from 2 -7. If dining, they have plenty of small plates that can be shared!
  • Extremely leisurely pace. Mediocre, food with virtually no seasoning/flavor. Needless to say I won't be back.
  • Gumbo is delish. Try the endive and radicchio salad with yucca chips. Ask the bartender for recommendations on Texas spirits.
