Foursquare Tips

  • book at dinner at Long Table Series.
  • Have a proper pint of Guinness in Vancouver
  • Servers were really nice, but the service of food and beer was painfully slow. The Heather Fries with Curry was okay, but the Bangers and mashpotatoes did not please me.
  • Fries are really crispy but comes with curry. It would have been better with gravy. Service very slow. Pot pie is only ok.
  • Stick with the beer or scotch here. Big thumbs down on the cocktails.
  • Book a Long Table Series dinner in October before they all sell out!
  • Have dinner at the Long Table series
  • Ask for the "classic" Heather Pot Pie which comes on a bed of mashed potatoes instead of fries and combine it with a Guinness.
  • Scotch. Get it.
  • Fantastic whiskey!
  • Why are you checking in here? You should be at Shebeen (at the same address) instead.
  • Bucky is legendary. Pours a mean pint of black and tips the tyrconnell with precision.
  • Absolute Best Pint of Guinness in Vancouver. No doubt.
  • Wi-fi password: "saltytongue"
  • mash is my fave - save the fries for the curry dip they serve here too. The bangers & mash and fish & chips are awesome as well. Unmatched scotch selection too. Love the Heathers
  • Go to the Heather. Have a pot pie, but be sure to order it with the fries, not the mashed potatoes. Wash down with a Guinness.
  • Nice and not too expensive. Good if you're older than 30.
  • The sazerac is better in the Irish heather than in the shebeen
  • Good irish food. Solid drink selection. Way more of a sit down place than its next door neighbor.
  • The charcuterie plates are really not worth the price
