Foursquare Tips

  • Try the lime squeeze.
  • My local bar plays Black Swan instead of Swan Lake on their TVs. Hence why my local is better than yours.
  • You can't go wrong with a lemon squeeze!
  • Wifi password is lemonsqueeze
  • Lime squeeze for the win!
  • Kitschy 50s diner with diverse crowd packs in the who's who of DC's gay community
  • The best of both worlds! Modern layout meets old-school design. Locals love the BLT.
  • "Eighties night at the Duplex Diner is held one Friday a month, party is free to enter & when the clock strikes midnight, some cocktails are slashed to just $4 a pop."-via Daily Candy
  • It's like trying to find a needle in a gaystick.on a Thursday night at this place...not complaining, just saying....
  • Duplex is the definition of a neighborhood favorite. Tons of regulars, great watch parties (esp. Drag Race!), and dancing. Food is great, and cocktails are even better!
  • Service was great from our bartender.
  • Tater tots. And during happy hour, free at the bar!
  • Poor service...had burgers with fries and onion rings. Burgers were mediocre; fries and onion rings were "over fried" or maybe "twice fried" if there is such a thing. Wouldn't come back...
  • The new menu is nice. The airline chicken with romesco, black bean, corn and farro is divine!
  • Such a cool establishment. Big & strong drinks, cool music, a Madonna restroom. Oh, yes, it's guy but it's super friendly!
  • The sriracha Bloody Mary
  • Tater. Tots.
  • Amazing tots
  • Stella and tots
  • The DONUT HOLES ARE HEAVENLY!!! A must have!!!
