Foursquare Tips

  • For about $30, you can get like 4 plates of a MILLION dumplings. Omg. So good! And cheap, wow! Great alternative to sushi.
  • Get the shanghai steamed soup dumplings and the beijing dumplings. Wasted trip if you don't get those. Trust me.
  • The xlb's are legit
  • No wait if you come when it opens
  • Shanghai-style pork soup dumplings, pan-fried potstickers, and the garlic bok choy are all yummy. And the hot chili oil makes everything better.
  • Xiao long bao is legizzy. Get one for each person; you'll want all 10.
  • Pork and crab dumplings are the best
  • The closest thing to Din Tai Fung here in the Bay Area.
  • Soup dumplings, spicy tofu, spinach dumplings, string beans and tsing tao. Reservations are helpful. Not fancy, lots of local families. Great for a group.
  • Goood. Awesome. Cheap.
  • Soup dumplings... crab and pork... awesomeness!
  • Dumplings, noodles
  • Soup dumplings and Bok choy with garlic
  • The spinach noodle soup doesn't sound special, but it is
  • Definitely get like 2-3 orders of the Shanghai soup dumplings. Don't get the green onion pancake.
  • Beijing boiled pork and chive dumplings, pork and crab XLB,
  • Sigh, I had high hopes but the food just wasn't that great. The XLB were fine but lacked flavor. The rest of the food was very average sadly. Noodles were soggy and the food was bland in general.
  • Dumpling Kitchen is a great place for Dim-Sum from the menu. Wide variety of food choices with almost no wait. Better alternative to Hong Kong Lounge II and less expensive! Try the Shanghai Dumpling!
  • Authentic Shanghainese food. It's all good, but one of my secret faves is the cucumber appetizer.
  • The Xiaolongbao isn't worth the hype - get #5 instead
