Foursquare Tips

  • One of the waitresses was extremely rude and the chef's convenient excuse was that she was from China. (Y)
  • A couple of house rules: 2 dinner seating (6pm & 8pm). Private room min spend $300, max diners 6. Corkage $25 per bottle
  • Limited food options, but they serve good Japanese cuisine
  • The chirashi set was value for money @ $25++. The sashimi cuts were thick and very fresh. The chawanmushi was good too. Gotta improve on their service though.

  • Seriously good food!! You must try the Chirashi set. And also the Unagi set. Amazing
  • Good value chirashi set. Generous sashimi cuts and very fresh! Cooked foods are average unfortunately, although chargrilled squid was very good.
  • Grilled Mackerel was good!! Gindara set too!! Still maintained standards back at far east.. :)
  • Their draw is their thickly cut, fresh, good quality sashimi! I usually don't eat tuna but I would eat it here! Tastes ttly different from elsewhere!
  • The Chirashi Kou is $25. So pretty and so yummy. Sashimi slices are thick n of good quality! Can taste the quality!
  • Decent Japanese bento sets but slightly pricier
  • Sister branch @ Purvis St. Called Manzoku
  • This place is going down. Rice is terrible & of poor quality. Doesn't even taste like Japanese rice
  • Sashimi topping for the chirashi was good but the sushi rice was disappointing - tasted bland & flat.
  • Great value for money chirashi don!
  • Chirashi sushi is a must.
  • Chirashi Don
  • Lousy service staff.
  • Chirashidon is such great value here! $26++ for a bowl of thickly cut sashimi with miso soup. Fresh and yummy! Service is slow and it was a quiet night.
  • Huge chunks of assorted sashimi in chirashi rice. Including my favourite mekajiki . However, service is slow.
