Foursquare Tips

  • This place is the tits. A great beer selection, amazing scratch food made entirely in-house (even the mustard), and a patio to rival any in Dallas. Behold, the perfect bar.
  • Blind Butcher is the meat whisperer of Dallas. From sourcing meat all the way down to choosing which wood chips to smoke with, you can trust these meat masters to make something great.
  • The pretzel bread will change your life.
  • The Dove Tail uses smoky Mezcal, which is combined with a grapefruit cordial and soda to create something fruity enough to stand up to the menu, but smoky too, because meat.
  • If poutine isn't your thing, the fries underneath are a thing of beauty on their own. In the plain iteration, Chef Oliver Sitrin fries hand-cut russet potatoes in duck fat, which adds a ton of flavor.
  • Brussels sprouts here will make you a believer!
  • Bacon Brussel sprouts rock plus ditto to the duck poutine, pretzel bread and sausages. Would be awesome if they served food and drinks on the patio!
  • Cured meats. Hand cranked sausages. Great beer and cocktails. Delicious starters and the best brussels sprouts ever. Yes brussels sprouts and bacon!
  • After one taste of the poutine here, youll be happy to make its acquaintance.
  • Happy hour from 4-6. 2$ off cocktails, wine and draft beer.
  • Sit at bar, service is great and the duck fat fries are killer! Good drink selection, not really a full sit down restaurant but great snacks. I will be back again, can't wait for the patio to open.
  • That's a cool place! Will come again for sure when they open the patio and start serving food :)
  • The mushroom poutine is delicious, but it's the only one of the three that is gluten-free.
  • Overrated & disappointing. Bacon Brussels sprouts were good, my entree Texas Poutine was a let down. I had 2 slices of pork w/ little BBQ sauce. Probably the most expensive fries I've ever had.
  • All the beer pub food you can eat. Nice atmosphere and parking is free out back(next to the hobo dinner place).
  • Awesome patio, try a liter of Franconia Mearzen, their excellent Marzen house beer. They have meats as well, just FYI.
  • Have wanted to go here for a while and it was completely worth the wait. It is perfect for just having a beer and appetizers or an entire meal. You won't be disappointed.
  • The bartender was super nice but this place was just too crowded for my taste. Love the look and vibe. Maybe I'll try again on a weeknight and not Saturday.
  • Good beer. Good charcuterie board
