If your birthday is in April, Restaurant Eve is offering you a free 5-course tasting dinner in their Chef's Tasting Room, a $100+ value. Yup, that's right. It's all because of Eve Armstrong, the restaurant's namesake and the daughter of the chef/owner Cathal Armstrong.
Two years ago, Eve decided that instead of gifts to celebrate her April birthday, she would ask her friends and family to make a donation to Animal Welfare of Alexandria. The little lady wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Her parents were inspired by their daughter's request, so much so that they not only honored it, but also decided to pay it forward by gifting tasting dinners to others with April birthdays. This is the second year the Armstrongs are offering free 5-course tasting dinners to honor their daughter's request.
So what do you need to do to get your free meal? You must call the restaurant to make a reservation (703-706-0450) and mention "Birthday Bash." There are a few limitations. The gift is not valid Friday and Saturday, gratuity is not included (so please tip well folks!), booze is not included (blame ABC laws), and only one free dinner per table may be redeemed. Restaurant Eve has requested that you also bring along a gift or check for the animals of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
In our professional opinion, this is a pretty good deal. So if your birthday is in April, give them a call!
