  • 2  Ounces  High-quality, aged amber rum
  • Juice from about ¾ of a fresh, juicy lime
  • ½  Ounce  orgeat
  • ½  Ounce  High-quality orange liqueur
  • ¼  Ounce  Simple syrup
  • Mint sprig for garnish
  • Orchid flower for garnish (optional)

Directions

In a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice, combine all ingredients except the garnish and shake until very cold. Strain into a highball glass over ice, then garnish.
