Who says that your mimosa has to be orange — or in liquid form? Offering a wide range of mimosa flavors or having a mimosa bar at your big summer blowout will make you the “hostess with the mostest.”

Ingredients

  • 2  Cups  Champagne (brut, extra dry, or prosecco)*
  • 1  Cup  raspberry sorbet
  • 1  Cup  ice
  • fresh raspberries

Directions

Add Champagne, sorbet, and ice cubes to blender. Allow Champagne bubbles to settle. Select “Ice Crush” and blend. Pour into chilled Champagne flutes and garnish with raspberries. Makes 2 servings. For a nonalcoholic version, replace Champagne with sparkling white grape juice.

Raspberry Shopping Tip

Buying fruits in season when they are at the peak of their freshness make for great tasting food and can save you money.

Raspberry Cooking Tip

Don’t throw out your overripe fruit – instead blend into a smoothie or salad dressing, add to muffin batter, bake into a cobbler, or boil down with sugar and a little lemon juice to make jam.
