Mixed Fruit Salsa

A twist on typical salsas, this fruity mixture makes for a fantastic appetizer. 

Ingredients

For the mixed fruit salsa:

  • One 16-ounce package mixed frozen berries, thawed and chopped
  • 2 medium peaches, diced
  • 2 medium kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons grated lime peel

For the cinnamon tortilla chips:

  • 8 flour tortillas (7 inches)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

Directions

For the mixed fruit salsa:

 In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; set aside.

For the cinnamon tortilla chips:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Brush both sides of tortillas with butter. Combine the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over both sides of the tortillas. Cut each into 6 wedges. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes on each side or until crisp. Drain salsa; serve with tortilla chips.
