Whether you pair this guacamole with whole-grain chips or vegetable sticks, your body will benefit from the avocado’s healthy fats. This light dip can even add flavor to your meal, without the excess calories of other sauce.

Ingredients

  • avocados, peeled and seeded
  • lime, juiced
  • 1/4  Teaspoon  salt
  • 1/4  Teaspoon  pepper
  • small onion, diced
  • 1  Tablespoon  cilantro, chopped
  • clove garlic, minced

Directions

In a large bowl, mash the avocado. Add half the lime juice and continue mashing.

Add the salt and pepper and mash.

Toss in the onions, cilantro, and garlic.

Mix in the rest of the lime juice and enjoy!
