A delicious breakfast recipe featuring Almond Breeze milk.

Fruited Quinoa
Ingredients
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries, mixed berries or chopped apricots
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cup blue diamond original unsweetened almond breeze
  • 1/3 cup cherry, berry or apricot 100% fruit spread
Directions
  1. Rinse quinoa in a fine mesh strainer and drain well.
  2. Transfer to a medium saucepan and stir in Almond Breeze.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 12 minutes.
  4. Remove cover and increase heat slightly; add dried fruit and extract and cook for 8 minutes more or until creamy, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in fruit spread.
