Try this delicious crème brûlée recipe that was given to us by New York Chef Dominick Pepe. He serves this rich take on the classic Crème Brûlée Daily at West Village Italian icon, Olio e Piú.

Ingredients

  • 10  egg yolks
  • 3/4  quart of cream
  • 1/2  fresh vanilla bean
  • 8  Ounces  sugar

Directions

Preheat over to 450 degrees F.

Temper eggs with cream, vanilla , and sugar.

Pour the mixture into ramekins and bake in a water bath for 30-40 mins until the custard sets.
