Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade

Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade
Staff Writer

The Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Miami pays homage to classic Southern cooking and culture—with a twist. Take the Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade: This cocktail features Buffalo Trace Bourbon, fresh-pressed lemon, blackberry and…cardamom. Used prominently in Indian cooking, sweets and drinks, like Masala Chai; the strong spice cardamom can also be found in Finnish bread and mixed with coffee in the Middle East. Here, cardamom imparts a rich, almost citrusy flavor.
