Ingredients
  • 4 ounce milk chocolate
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounce fresh banana puree
  • 8 slices of bananas
  • whipped topping of choice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped pecans & cashews
  • 1 maraschino cherry
Directions
  1. Combine the chocolate and the cream in the top of a double boiler set over simmering water. Heat until the chocolate is melted, stirring constantly; or combine the chocolate and the cream in a microwave-safe bowl until melted, stirring every 30-45 seconds. Be careful not to let the chocolate burn. Pour into a warm fondue pot. Pour in banana puree and stir with long spoon or mixing spoon. Add the sliced bananas to the chocolate mixture, placing them around the center of the chocolate to create a “raft”. Do not stir. Top the banana slice “raft” with the whipped topping. Lastly, add the pecans and cashews, then place the Maraschino cherry on top of the whipped topping.
