Ingredients
  • 2 firm apples
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit (such as cherries, cranberries, raisins or apricots)
  • 8 pecans or walnuts
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon + (5.5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon greek yogurt
  • 4 tablespoon softened butter
Directions
  1. 1.Finely chop the pecans and dried fruit. Combine with the oats cinnamon, flour, Greek yogurt, softened butter, and sugar. 2.Cut the apples in half, and remove the seeds and carve out a small well in the center. 4.Sprinkle the apple lightly with sugar and cinnamon (if you used tart apples). 4.Fill each apple with the rolled oat topping, pressing it down lightly. 5.Place the apple halves in a baking dish (or I like to place them in muffin tins). 6.Bake them for 25 – 35 minutes in a 375 degree oven (until the apples are soft).
