If you are preparing for a party, tailgate, or event, these burgers are vegetarian friendly and will please everyone who attends. The healthy barbecue sauce is a declicious addition that adds a ton of healthy flavor.
In a saucepan, sauté onion and oil over medium heat until translucent.
Once it’s ready, add the rest of your ingredients and simmer for a few minutes.
Pour the mix into a blender and blend until smooth.
Dip tempeh slices in your bbq sauce and put them on the grill.
While they cook, be sure to add more sauce every time you flip them. After about 10 minutes, add your buns to the grill so they can toast.
Assemble burgers with romaine lettuce leaves, tomato slices, avocado, and a little more bbq sauce.
