Foursquare Tips

  • Fanatic Fact: Formerly the Kansas City Scouts and Colorado Rockies, the Devils arrived in New Jersey to stay in 1982.
  • Head to the lower level Grand Concourse, which houses jerseys from most high school hockey teams in the Garden State.
  • Screw basketball. A game that doesn't matter till the last 2 minutes? Nothing exciting about that. Go to Red Bull Arena or see a hockey game insted.
  • Before you go to your seats make sure you are in the right section and then the correct row!
  • Don't fall down the stairs. They're steep
  • Good hot dogs. Decent place to watch a hockey game.
  • There's great seats in the Acela Club here! The views are incredible! We love both the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers so come join us to show off your hockey fandom! :)
  • Do you know that just a few blocks away is one of the best museums in the Country? The Newark Museum is a must see. It houses the largest Tibetan art collection in the world outside of Tibet.
  • Sit in the club seats! Best food!
  • I highly recommend getting the hot dogs at Korean Grill. You can get beef or chicken, mild or spicy.
  • Love this place. The ushers/vendors are super friendly and the NJ Devils murals and banners are great. I grew up in NJ, so I love the high school hockey jerseys hanging around The Rock
  • Parking right across street convenient ... But $30 dollars
  • Try the Mucho Nachos but ask for only half a scoop of salsa so it isnt so messy. Also make sure you pick up a red pitchfork fork - it makes it much easier to eat. Finally don't forget NAPKINS!
  • If you're going to event and avoiding lines by arena for dining. Walk 2-3 blocks toward NJ PAC for Port44, Spot or Food for Life or Branford Place for Hobbys
  • When ordering the grilled chicken sandwich..make sure chicken is actually in said sandwich.
  • Make sure you check out the great restaurants around the area especially the great Portuguese in the Iron Bound district. Don Pepe's is one of my favorites just 4 blocks from The Rock!
  • Barack Obama campaigned here for Jon Corzine on 11/1/09.
  • the chocolate covered pretzels they sell at the escalator to the 2nd level are delicious but they are filling
  • Great concert outing! Beautiful building and great food
  • Nice adventure with the Super Bowl Media Day for everyone but Marshawn Lynch.
