Foursquare Tips

  • Pork Belly Pastrami kicks ass.
  • Hidden gem of Avondale. Kumas like atmosphere with better food.
  • Got delivery via Grubhub. Super Fast!! The baked beans, brisket and corn on the cob are solid. The pulled pork was incredibly juicy, but not much flavor. Nice flavor sauce, thinner consistency.
  • The pulled pork sandwich combo comes with 2 sides; I recommend the fries (the true star here) and mixing the "Tangy" and "Sweet" sauces on the warm, fresh sandwich bun.
  • $2.00 PBR is a nice beverage option .
  • Excellent chicken. Good prices. Three types of sauces you can dispense on your own.
  • Don't underestimate the fries.
  • Jason is the man!
  • Thought youd want to know: Pork Shoppe has been nominated for Best New Barbecue in Time Out Chicagos 2011 Eat Out Awards. Vote now!
  • Best ribs I have ever had, and I've had plenty of ribs. Great food and lovely staff.
  • Pork belly pastrami. OMG!! A gift from God for your mouth.
  • Celiacs - we eat safely here!! Meat / sauces GF and French fries made in a dedicated fryer! Deeeeeelish!!
  • Whoo hoo!! Combined the scout mob taco deal and the 4square cookie deal for a full-on savor/flavor dinner
  • Try the french fries from our 100 Best list: Its the fries that stick with us: skin on, hand cut, deep brown, liberally salted and pretty much perfect.
  • Best brisket in chicago, try the pork belly pastrami!
  • Sweet coleslaw, with raisins.
  • The pulled pork sandwich is incredible. Delicious bun and fresh fries. Good sauces too.
  • Everything here rocks. If you're not sure what to get, ask the staff for a taste. I've tasted everything prior to buying it & have never been disappointed.
  • Shooting for a June 20 opening, enjoy pulled pork shoulder & St. Louis cut ribs will be paired with barrels of beer & bourbon, while recycled & biodegradable utensils give it a green-friendly rep.
  • The ribs are good here. They do the job.
