Foursquare Tips

  • Set on a dark stretch that looks deserted even though it isn't, the Populist has been nudging diners to venture farther up Larimer Street since it opened in November.
  • Tasting menu is maybe the best food secret in the state for the price. Standouts: the carrots, and the bacon & egg. Wines pairings well worth it too. Quirky lists can be risky, they do it well.
  • The Chef's Menu paired with wine is a great value and a super fun way to experience a lot of the dishes.
  • The team behind Crema Cofffe House created a timeless community eatery in its space. Popular dishes include the agnolotti and the smoked fish rilletes. Serves brunch Sat. & Sun. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Go for the tasting menu. Generous portions. One of the better meals I've ever had.
  • Our favorite of the evening was the butternut squash agnolotti. Definitely among my favorite things I've eaten in a LONG time. We'll be back!
  • The RiNo restaurant from Noah Price and chef Jonathan Power is nearly a year old and going strong. Try the cauliflower and pear soup and the curried chickpeas and don't overlook the wine list.
  • #populist get the cubano
  • Favorite dishes that we ordered were the huitlacoche agnolotti and the scallops (I can't remember the name of what that was on the menu).
  • Off-menu Bacon & Egg Burger: Set atop a brioche bun, local beef patty is loaded up w/fresno chile aioli, melty alpha Tolman cheese, pickled onions, umami-rich bacon & onion jam & crowned w/a yolky egg
  • Bartender's choice cocktails. Ask for something boozy, spicy, with mezcal. Food is incredible. Be sure to try any of the pasta dishes. For dessert get the chocolate pot de crem & strawberry tart.
  • Great! Try the duck liver and go for happy hour!
  • Astoundingly great menu and some mean cocktails done right.
  • Great romantic spot for dates, beautiful patio and interesting high quality menu
  • Best place in Denver so far. Tasting menu is a steal at $75 for two people. Bacon and egg is a highlight. Tandoori chicken is amazing.
  • Do the tasting menu! So worth the price and tastes wonderful.
  • The Abadia De La Oliva Grenache was really good. We had a group of 5 and shared 3 small plates and 3 entres and all were presented beautifully and tasty. Chocolate mint dessert-fabulous.
  • Tasting menu is the way to go, it's actually a lot of food.
  • Tasting menu is good value ($75 for two)! Popular spot, waiting should be expected.
  • Beautiful patio, great date spot. Favorite dishes include shishitos/edamame, perfectly seared scallops, and charcuterie. Well priced wine options.
