Foursquare Tips

  • Spicy chicken sandwich
  • Do the donuts
  • Try "The Blueprint" burger (topped w/ smoked blue cheese, "pig candy", fried onions, steak sauce, and peppercorn), as its size'll make it significantly harder for you to move On To the Next One.
  • Chef's Favorite Burger is a must if you're looking for a heart attack. Yummy death.
  • The gearhead version of a modernist hamburger: layered with ketchup leather, pickle shavings, homemade American cheese scented with kombu seaweed, and a microscopically thin layer of fried cheese.
  • Truffle Burger. Need I say more?
  • The Chefs Favorite Burger lives up to the name: cheese two ways, bacon two ways, the much- publicized ketchup leather, hot sauce, and a fried egg for good measure.
  • The doughnuts are orgasmic!
  • Try the pastrami sandwich. It's smeared with kimchi mustard and features a fried-egg-draped slice of bread.
  • The truffle burger was juicy tender heaven, it's been a while since I had one like it, the sweet potato fries were very good too (the peach ketchup complimented it perfectly.
  • The Chef's Favorite Burger can stand up to any hangover and kick it straight in the crotch. Yes, it's that good. The Kale Caesar was also huge and delicious. Wash it down with a few Mexican cokes.
  • It's ok. Not the best. Won't be coming back. Something about having to pay $13 for just a thin turkey burger w/ fancy mushrooms gets to me. It's just the burger. Nothing else. :-(
  • You won't regret ordering the Chef's Burger - cheese two ways, bacon two ways, ketchup leather, fried egg and hot sauce. Seriously?!?! Seriously!
  • Little Osaka Sour is da bomb!!
  • The cruller donuts are a must!
  • Awesome (and heated!) outdoor seating.
  • The standard burger here is called a "PCB" and some would argue it's the best in LA. Don't let the dashi-enhanced cheese or the Soylent Green-sounding ketchup "leather" scare you away, it's delicious.
  • LOVED the PCB burger. Fries were delicious with the pepper mayo dip. Not really a cronut but a cruller donut; good but nothing more than a churro.
  • Secret item: Chef Uchimura's grilled cheese sandwich, consisting simply of a pair of cheeses and pickles in a panko crusted crunch bun.
  • Had the PCB - solid, tasty, juicy burger. Started with the pickles (spicy, cucumber) and paired it all with an Allagash Tripel. Perfect lunch.
