  • "David Chang [tried] to create a new breed of Asian-American comfort food, but... the formula doesn't work." - Lizzie Widdicombe reviews Pig and Khao
  • Try the sisig, a typical Filipino dish made with pork head. Less adventurous options include longanisa sausage or sizzling corned beef hash with garlic fried rice.
  • On the menu try Grilled Curry Lamb Ribs($24) sweet-spicy curried lamb ribs that are falling-off-the-bone tender and ->balanced<- with a garlic-spiked yogurt and savory flatbread. Halo Halo for Dessert
  • A Top Chef contestant's spin on Thai and Filipino cooking to mixed results. While some dishes don't live up to their inspirations, others are spicy and bright.
  • Brunch soundtrack features Kanye, Tupac, and Bone Thugs. That + $15 bottomless mimosas = joy.
  • Sizzling sisig- must have!!
  • One of the best meals outside of Asia I've had in the US. Adding this to my go-to list of awesome, unassuming restaurants in NYC. Get the sirloin and the coconut rice.
  • Order the khao soi and the grilled sirloin- the flavors are amazing! With a side of coconut rice, of course.
  • This is the Momofuku of Filipino food, from a top chef runner up. Order the entire menu, especially the ribs, everything with pork, the coconut rice, and the sisig. Unlimited beers from a keg for $15.
  • Sisig, pata, adobo, and end with halo halo :)
  • Sizzling Sisig with coconut rice. Do it. Your tummy will smile. Your arteries will cry.
  • Get the sisig with coconut rice -- a great combination of sweet and savoy. Don't forget the halo halo!
  • A+ Asian hipster fusion. Get the Russ & Daughters smoked salmon chips, crispy rice salad, the noodle small dish (starts with a K), and the grilled curry lamb ribs. Fullness awaits
  • endless beer from outdoor keg in back for $15
  • $15 for bottomless self serve Yuengling from the keg in the back garden.
  • Leah (of Top Chef season 5 making out with ultimate unworthy winner Josea fame) is kicking ass at one of my favorite new LES spots. 2 words: pork. jowls.
  • Save some room for the halo halo! And don't be afraid to get the sizzling sisig
  • Gotta try the lamb ribs - mmmm!
  • The coconut rice and sirloin are the two best things on the menu by far!
  • The pork head with egg is very good, the mussels are very tasty and the grilled lamb ribs are to die for. Staff is very friendly
