  • They actually do have pomegranate molasses, confirmed by the voice of loudspeaker.
  • Shop in the early morning on week days or Saturday nights to avoid the crowds.
  • Try the Steve's caramel salt vanilla ice cream.. and the Mary's original glutenfree crackers made out of myriads of seeds
  • Inventory squad is a good way to find out what's in the store without the crowd.
  • Leave your kids at home or in childcare
  • Produce is fantastic, cheese shelf is meh, people are mostly pleasant, and the prices are stunning. Worth every minute of the monthly shift.
  • Tuesday evenings seem to be the best times to go. No one is ever there.
  • FTOP is the way to go.
  • Produce is ace, everything is seasonal and a lot is local. Cheese and bulk is great. Meat so-so. Lines and crowds painful. All worth the cheap prices and great quality! Oh and the beers are great

  • The Park Slope Food Coop has been around since 1973 and has over 15,500 members. Only members may shop at the co-op, but membership is open to all.
  • Leave your kids in childcare upstairs (to feast on unlimited bagels) while you shop.
  • Great dry food bulk food section.
  • Try the vegan Tamarind Curry. It's soooo amazing with fresh veggies and tofu!
