Foursquare Tips

  • Featured in "Ask Mr. Gold: Top 10 Pico Boulevard Eats" by Jonathan Gold. Click 'More Info' to read all about it!
  • If you're a tipper (which you should be and should always tip) bring cash. Credit card purchases don't allow you to tip! Sucks! :(
  • You're in the right place! Best gyros in town. Grilled baby octopus is great and the fried feta is quite a treat. If it's a nice day, sit on the patio - many people don't know that they have one!
  • One of my favorite Greek food locations, best hidden gem! Be prepared to pay $15-20 per person!
  • Funny how the "first check-in" special unlocks $4.99 for a gyro but it's $4.99 every day!!
  • Best spinach pie ever! Crisp, Flakey and buttery, but not oily. Spinach filling is aromatic and well seasoned.
  • Don't forget the free olives and roasted garlic w chilies. And extra Tzatziki!
  • thursdays all you can eat family banquet for 25$ awesome do it gotta make reservations thou
  • Hands down the best Greek Food! Outstanding food, service and make sure you take home a bottle of Papa Christos Greek dressing, you will be glad you did!
  • If Mexican-style octopus is your thing, try the marinated-octopus tostadas with avocado that are standards at most ceviche stands and go extremely well with beer.
  • If the Korean and American snacks in your minibar aren't your style, stock up on imported Greek olive oils, vinegars, cheeses, and pastries at this iconic Byzantine-Latino-Quarter eatery and market.
  • Order the fried feta cheese! So good!!
  • Best falafel and gyros in town! Also, al most always live music on Saturday afternoons.
  • Almost makes me want to move to LA.
  • Thursday Night Dinners are a fun experience. Bring a group and enjoy the food, drinks, and entertainment.
  • The Lamb. Anything with Lamb. Must I repeat myself? Get some Lamb. I spoke with the man himself (Papa Cristo) and he explained that you cannot find lamb properly cooked anywhere else! Just try it.
  • Sandwiches that'll give you enough of a reason to head over to this part of town... over and over again
  • The dolmas are just ok, but the pita and fried feta with tomatoes is outstanding!
  • Greek grocery, bakery and restaurant with spit-roasted gyros. Thursday nights at the taverna feature My Big Fat Greek Family-Style Dinner.
  • Amazing food but the service leaves MUCH to be desired.
