Southern California based fashion house, Andre Soriano is bringing in a new wave of luxury bridal with colorful and funky frocks. Coming from a modest background, Soriano's family moved from the Philippines when he was young; his love of fashion was sparked by his mother's construction of family clothing and drapes. He became vice president of his high school's fashion club, then after graduating, went on to attend San Francisco's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to pursue his dreams of designing. After opening his first store and realizing a successful career as a designer, Soriano started giving back to the community. The design house joined nonprofit groups to raise money for HIV/AIDS orphans and local college funds as well as collaborating with San Diego LGBT Pride.
Andre Soriano's line spans from accessories to bridal and everything in between, but as much as we love their cowhide handbags, there's just something about a twenty foot violet train that gets a girl's blood pumping. His inspiration for these dramatic pieces comes from the arts: including theater, painting and high fashion itself. A fan of luxury fashion around the world, Soriano creates his own designs with a striking flair for the avant-garde.
