Video: Super Mario Bros. Theme Played On 48 Wine Glasses

In the video below, enterprising and nostalgia-inducing YouTuber Dan Newbie uses a combination of "48 wine glasses, two pencils, one frying pan, seven microphones, two cameras, and tap water," to play a stirring rendition of the Super Mario Bros. theme song.

The official name of the Super Mario Bros. theme, which has become one of the most recognizable pieces of music in the world, is actually the "Ground Theme" and was originally heard in the first stage of the Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The song was one of six themes composed by Koji Kondo, who has been with Nintendo since 1984 and has scored several of your favorite Mario and Legend of Zelda games.

The theme has also been reused and remixed into several other Nintendo games, including Tetris DS, WarioWare, Inc., and the Super Smash Bros. series.
