Australia In-N-Out Spinoff Is Selling Pokémon Burgers

Down-N-Out, Australia's In-N-Out pop-up spinoff, has created three Pokémon-themed burgers — Pokéburgs — and people are already losing their minds over them.

Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Pikachu Pokéburgs, available now through Sept. 3, are not only made to look like the Pokémon, but the toppings have been specifically selected to represent them as well.

"The flavors and the ingredients match the Pokémon's style, character and color," Ben Kagan, part-owner of Down-N-Out, told Mashable Australia. "The Charmander is a little bit spicy, there's kind of a volcanic cheese dripping off it. The Bulbasaur is grassy and cleaner, but it tastes like a Big Mac actually — which is quite nice. The Pikachu is a bit sillier, with our 'tiger fries' through it."

The burgers were an instant hit when they made their debut yesterday night, selling out for dinner service not even an hour after opening.

Customers who want to eat 'em all might have to make a few return visits, as Pokéburgs are being served to customers at random.
