Maybe he’s just trying to live up to his character name.

Any Game of Thrones fan knows that The Mountain shouldn’t be messed with. No, The Mountain isn’t a place, it’s a person. Actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is 6’9, weighs 395 pounds, and is competing to be the 2016 World’s Strongest Man.

In order to succeed with his strongman competition, the Icelandic actor has to keep up with a strict diet: 11,489 calories a day, or about three dozen eggs, 3.3 pounds of potatoes, and more than two pounds of beef.

His impressive diet would make almost any grown man weep, puke, or both, and Björnsson strongly suggests that no one should try this at home. You can check out the rest of his daily diet here, which consists of nine meals, middle of the night snack of raw eggs, and countless strongman weight training sessions.

Björnsson placed in the top three in the past two World’s Strongest Man competitions, so we have no doubt that the wall-like Game of Thrones actor will do well this year.
