We’ve become pretty desensitized to celebrity diets, from Gwyneth Paltrow’s detoxes to the uber-strict 80 percent-vegetables diet that Tom Brady does. But this new one from Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt has us scratching our heads.

Pratt has announced that this year he will be embarking on what he calls a “Game Plan Diet,” which consists mainly of wild game he’s hunted and eaten himself, plus some fruits and vegetables. Bear Grylls, you have some competition out there.

"I'm going to start a diet I called 'The Game Plan' where basically I only eat wild game for a year," Pratt wrote in a revealing Instagram post, which showed the A-lister cutting up some packages of (presumably) freshly-caught meat. "'The Game Plan,' get it? Cause GAME? I mean I'll also eat veggies and fruit and other stuff too. But for one year I want to eat only the meats that were caught or killed by me or my friends."

The diet isn’t as crazy as it sounds though, he assures his fans. Pratt will eat eggs, chicken, oysters, and bacon, and will have to make room for some of his favorite dishes like sushi (what? Surely, Chris Pratt can afford training to become a master sushi chef to catch and make his own California rolls).

“Hunting, fishing and being outdoors with my friends and family is how I spent my free time as a young'n,” Pratt told ABC News. “That part of me will never change.”
