We Tried That Secret McDonald's McFlurry Sandwich Hack And Here's What We Thought
Although we've already introduced you to some of McDonald's best secret menu items, there's one new menu hack we can't believe we hadn't thought of: the McFlurry sandwich.
A recent Twitter post showed a hungry sweets fan smashing the contents of his Oreo McFlurry between two chocolate chip cookies from the McCafé, and naturally it's gotten quite a bit of attention:

We went ahead and did the dirty work for you to see if this "hack" is worth its weight in sugar. We scooped the contents of a mini Oreo McFlurry (the large one was too much) between two chocolate chip cookies. The verdict? It's a creative idea but not really worth it. The whole endeavor was pretty messy, since McFlurries don't have as much structural dexterity as regular ice cream. Plus, our cookies were kind of hard and didn't taste that fresh. It probably would have been easier to just dip pieces of cookie into the McFlurry cup.
"I feel like I can make the same thing at home with better quality ice cream," one editor said.
The McFlurry sandwich sadly does not make our ranking for the Ultimate Ice Cream Sandwich Taste Test.
