Police Arrest Heartless Man Who Stole $30 From A Lemonade Stand And Knocked It Over

An 18-year-old man who knocked over a lemonade stand operated by two young girls and stole $30 earlier this week has been arrested, officials in Rancho Cucamonga, California, have confirmed.

The suspect, Santini Tate, was visiting a friend in the area when he came upon the two girls. Tate had no money and reportedly asked for lemonade anyway, which he was given. Tate then began to walk away, but circled back to push the lemonade stand over and steal the girls' pink and turquoise money box.

One of the girls' brothers managed to recover the box, but the money was gone by then.

A local police officer who was called to investigate the theft managed to spot Tate in the area, and arrested him on suspicion of robbery. The suspect is being held in a local detention center, and is believed to be responsible for a number of petty crimes that took place on the same day as the lemonade stand theft.
