Pink's, The Historic Hollywood Hot Dog Stand, Is Opening A Location In Hawaii

Pink's Hot Dogs, the legendary Hollywood hot dog stand that counts Marlon Brando, Orson Wells, Steve Martin, and Aretha Franklin among its many fans, is headed to Hawaii, according to Pacific Business News.

Pink's has locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Ohio, and Connecticut, and it pops up in the summer at various county fairs, but the LA-based stand has never left the contiguous United States — until now.

According to Pacific Business News, the stand is currently under construction at the Sea Life Park in Waimanalo and is scheduled to open on March 7.

The stand will be open to the public.

Sea Life Park's parent company, Palace Entertainment, has a franchise agreement with Pink's, and has opened the stands at its other parks, including Lake Compounce in Bristol, Conn., and Raging Waters in San Dimas, Calif.

Pink's, by the way, also made The Daily Meal's own collection of America's 50 Best Hot Dogs.
