Panda Express Introduces Pacific Chili Shrimp Entrée

Panda Express has introduced Pacific Chili Shrimp, its newest menu item that's available for a limited time only. The meal combines marinated shrimp, sugar peas, red bell peppers, onions, and chili-garlic sauce, as part of the chain's "better-for-you" Wok Smart menu, according to a release.

It is made with premium ingredients and seasonal vegetables, reflecting the chain's mission to cater to customers that "crave a nutritious, feel-good meal still packed with great taste."

Dave Wallinga, vice president of guest marketing at Panda Express, says, "Adding Pacific Chili Shrimp to our Wok Smart line-up is part of our vision to further evolve our menu to offer guests a wider selection of quality, American Chinese choices that satisfy the variety of lifestyles and preferences they embody."

Pacific Chili Shrimp is created fresh at Panda Express locations in a wok, the ideal cooking tool for the dish as it "provides the perfect blend of caramelization and charring to deliver a symphony of flavors that are complex and richly flavorful." The dish comes in at 200 calories and 11 grams of protein.
