Olive Garden Debuts Spaghetti Pie, Adds New Breadstick Sandwiches To Its Lineup

Olive Garden is kicking off the summer season with new menu offerings and a summer-long celebration bringing together its fans from across the country.

For the lunch menu, Olive Garden has expanded its breadstick sandwich offerings, which were introduced last year and promoted via a fleet of food trucks. Joining Chicken Parmigiana and Italian Meatball Breadstick Sandwiches are Spicy Calabrian Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana Breadstick Sandwich, according to a release. The Spicy Calabrian Chicken Breadstick Sandwich features lightly breaded chicken, which is fried and tossed in spicy Calabrian sauce and served with a gorgonzola sauce. The Eggplant Parmigiana Breadstick Sandwich features fried, hand-breaded eggplant topped with Italian cheese and marinara.

New to the menu are Meatball Deep Dish Spaghetti Pie, Chicken Alfredo Deep Dish Spaghetti Pie, and Spaghetti Rosso with Chicken & Bacon. The Spaghetti Pies are made with spaghetti, seven cheeses, and Italian bacon, all baked in a flaky crust.

The Olive Garden is kicking off a Never Ending Family Table summer celebration in New York City, in which guests in different cities will have the opportunity to gather and try out the new offerings. One part of the celebration has a planned route and will visit a new city every week, while the other surprises guests and families that submit their summer celebration stories.

The New York City celebration will be taking place on June 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the High Line.
