McDonald's Of The Future Has All-You-Can-Eat Fries And Customizable Desserts

The McDonald's of the future is almost here, and it's coming to Mound City, Missouri.

The restaurant, which is set to open in July, will feature couches and armchairs in earthy tones and "larger-than-life kiosks" to take customized orders, according to St. Joseph's News-Press. The kiosks will allow customers to personalize their burgers and chicken sandwiches, and with this option McDonald's offers all-you-can-eat French fries.

Chris Habiger, owner of the restaurant and six other McDonald's locations in St. Joseph, says, "There really are hundreds of different choices to build the burger of your dreams. Once you've placed your order, you can find your seat because we'll bring it out to you."

The restaurant will offer tableside service, a private party room, a PlayPlace, and customizable desserts. Habiger says, "We've packed a number of new and innovative features in to our play place." It will feature interactive light board tables, tabletop video games, and digital play.
