Join The Daily Meal In Celebrating Singapore Restaurant Week In New York City This September

From September 18 until September 27, The Daily Meal, in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, will host Singapore Restaurant Week in New York City, featuring 20 the city's best restaurants and bars — plus a pop-up hawker stall just across the street from Madison Square Park.

The event, which celebrates Singapore's 50 years of nationhood, will feature a number of phenomenal culinary offerings at restaurants all over New York, including Market Table, Red Farm, DB Bistro, Chomp Chomp, The Meatball Shop, and several others. The 10 day event will also feature in-house events in The Daily Meal's own kitchen featuring Singapore ambassador chefs.

In Flatiron Square, just down the street from The Daily Meal, a five-day pop-up will take over the Ilili Box shipping container beginning Wednesday, September 23, transforming it into a hawker stall featuring a number of Singaporean menu items.

Madison Square Park, meanwhile, will transform into the home of Singapore: Inside Out, a traveling art showcase showcasing artwork from a number of Singapore's most talented contemporary artists. On Thursday, September 24, Shake Shack's flagship in the park will join the celebrations, with its own Singapore-inspired burger and custard.

Stay tuned for more details as they unfold in the coming weeks.
