Pastry God Dominique Ansel Will Personally Give Out Nutella Pancake Cones To 1,000 People In Grand Central Terminal

On Tuesday, February 17, Cronut creator and pastry master Dominique Ansel and Nutella will come together for the celebration of "International Pancake Tuesday," otherwise known as your excuse to leave the office for a special Nutella snack next Tuesday.

On Tuesday, chef Ansel and the Nutella team will be in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal in New York City with 2,000 Nutella Pancake Cones, created by the chef just for the occasion.

The first 1,000 people to show up will get two Nutella Pancake Cones each.

If you'll recall, the last time Ansel teamed up with Nutella for the company's 50th anniversary, he gave out Nutella Cronut holes.

The International Pancake Tuesday celebration will be held between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and will also feature Nutella sampling stations including a customizable pancake bar, handmade silver dollar pancakes, and photo opportunities with different Nutella props.

"There's something about Nutella that goes beyond just the flavors of hazelnut and cocoa, but has an emotion that brings me right back to my childhood," said Dominique Ansel. "It is always a fun inspiration for new creations."

Later this year, Ansel is slated to open a Cronut-less bakery in New York City's West Village, followed by a Tokyo outpost of Dominique Ansel Bakery.
