Starbucks Customers Will Be Able To Order Coffee With Voice Command

We have smart TVs, smart pet food and even smart lightbulbs, and soon you'll be able to order your coffee with new AI technology. Starbucks announced to investors a whole new slew of products and features including an upcoming feature on the app called My Starbucks Barista that allows customers to instantly order coffee via voice command. The feature will first be available to iOd users in a beta test sometime in 2017.

Other less technology-forward announcements made by Starbucks include a foray into the French cooking phenomenon, sous vide with sous vide egg bite sandwiches available in bacon & gruyere and egg white & roasted red pepper flavors, as well as a gluten-free egg sandwich, more bistro boxes, and bottled craft iced teas from Teavana pineapple berry blue herbal tea, peach green tea, mango black tea and passion tango herbal tea.

Starbucks will also begin selling non-coffee cold brew flavors like the upcoming cold brew cocoa and honey with cream available starting next year.
