Porter House New York Hosting Three-Course Dinner With Hillrock Whiskey Pairings On March 5

On Thursday, March 5, chef Michael Lomonaco will pair a three-course tasting menu with small-batch whiskey from Hillrock Estate Distillery at his celebrated steak restaurant Porter House in the Time Warner Center.

Tickets are $75 per guest, and which includes a special gift.

Hillrock Estate, based in the Hudson Valley of New York, makes the world's first solera-aged bourbon whiskey from their own grains, for a "field-to-grass" experience. Hillrock is the first distillery with this distinction in New York since Prohibition.

In recent years, craft whiskey production in New York has grown exponentially, from a few dozen distilleries to more than 400 throughout the state.

At Porter House, chef Lomonaco will showcase the growing presence of New York whiskey by pairing three Hillrock whiskeys with a menu of custom plates, including dessert.
