The acquisition adds more than 300 acres over nine vineyards to Gallo’s portfolio. 

E. & J. Gallo Winery, the distributor behind brands like Alamos, Carlo Rossi, Ecco Domani, Liberty Creek, and several others, has announced the acquisition of J Vineyards & Winery in Sonoma County, California, the producer of several acclaimed sparkling wines, including the 95-point J 2004 Late Disgorged Vintage Brut, Russian River Valley.

The deal includes J Vineyards’ Healdsburg winery and more than 300 acres spread over nine vineyards within the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley AVAs (American Viticultural Areas). Gallo already owns nine wineries in regions of California and Washington.
