Tender Is 'Tinder For Food': The New Must-See Food App

You may associate swiping left and right with the infamous digital rejection capabilities of Tinder, but three young app developers are looking to bring swiping to a gastronomic level. Tender Food and Recipes is a new iPhone app that allows you to swipe left or right on recipes. But unlike many of our favorite food apps, delivery isn't part of the equation.

"As 20-somethings, we are all constantly combating the impulse to just eat out or pick something up," co-founder Jordan Homan told Boston.com. "But Tender gets you psyched about the prospect of making food, and it makes it easy to do so."

The app provides users with a seemingly infinite list of recipes (food porn photos included) that you can reject or accept. If you swipe right, the recipe will be saved to your Cookbook. You can also filter recipes by categories like drinks, dessert, chicken, pork, beef, seafood, vegan, and vegetarian.

As of right now, the developers do not foresee any copyright infringement issues with Tinder.
