New Vegan Milk Brands Prove Dairy Foods Are Dead Forever

Cashews and almonds have been on the vegan milk scene for a while, but thanks to NüMoo, the brainchild of cold-pressed juice brand Juisi, we can now welcome pistachios and pecans to the list.

There are a couple of things that make these new beverages special. First, NüMoo uses the entire nut to make its milks, so no part is wasted. Second, these milks are lightly sweetened with dates or maple syrup, and the simple recipes include eight (or fewer) organic, non-GMO ingredients.

These are the types of high-quality milks that deserve to be poured on your overnight oats or favorite morning cereal. New Englanders, keep your eyes peeled. The new milks will be available in your states first. You’re so lucky

Another new plant-based milk on the block is Ripple milk, made of green peas. It tastes nothing like peas, however, and contains eight times the protein of almond milk, half the sugar of cow’s milk, a third of the saturated fat, and 50% more calcium. But that’s not all. Ripple milk also packs more potassium and Vitamin D.

Start your day with a #vegan power #breakfast! Our recipe uses #Ripple Chocolate for 8 grams of protein. via @ellensmessykitchen Recipe: 1 frozen banana 1 cup Ripple Chocolate 1 shot of espresso Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with espresso beans and cacao powder.

We can’t wait to try all of the flavors: original, unsweetened, vanilla and chocolate.

The dairy industry better watch out- these new plant-based products are proving that you don’t need to be cruel to cows to get all of your necessary nutrients. Enjoy!
