It's great in desserts and marinades, too
Amoretti
Amoretti makes syrups in several varieties.

If your livelihood doesn't center around dessert making, chances are you may not know that Amoretti is a top ingredient supplier for pastry chefs across the globe. According to founder and Master Creator Jack Barsoumian, “my ingredients were created not for profit but for perfection.”

Supplier to an ever growing roster of top patisseries, chocolatiers, 5 star hotels, Fortune 500 industrial bakeries, and even royal palaces, Amoretti added 1,000 premium ingredients to their lineup in the last 10 years. A virtual miracle considering Barsoumian is totally self-taught in the pastry field. "My Mom did not give me any recipes. I approached this market with my organic chemistry & cell molecular biology background and I can say with confidence that making these ingredients is more art than science,” he told us.

One of Amoretti's ingredients I used recently to make a sweet and salty peach marinade was their all-natural peach syrup. 1/3 less sugar than other brands makes it perfect for pork on the grill. You get the tangy sweet essence of peaches without the hassle of pitting, peeling, and sticky residue:

½ c Amoretti’s Kalamata Infused Finishing Olive Oil

¼ c Amoretti’s Aged Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar

½ tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp mustard

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp pepper flakes

½ pump Amoretti’s Peach Syrup – about 1 teaspoon

Salt + pepper to taste
