Foursquare Tips

  • This is THE national museum to World War I, not just some little thing KC put together. It's an incredible experience that you should not miss out on. Plan on 3 hours minimum and worth every second.
  • Best museum I've been to in a long time. Leave plenty of time to go through everything - it had been 4 hours before I knew it! Extremely well done and informative.
  • Awesome awesome awesome! If you haven't been, you need to go! And make sure to go to the top of the liberty memorial!!!
  • If you haven't gone yet...Do It. A Kansas City and National treasure
  • A great way to learn about history
  • All of the veteran volunteers are so sweet, helpful, and informative
  • Wonderful museum. Interactive and stimulating, but respectful and true to the history. A gem of Kansas City.
  • Number 1 thing to do in KC. Except maybe eat.
  • A ticket can be used in two days. Two people can use their tickets in two days. That's a tip
  • Nice museum
  • Not just your average museum. Thid place is a top notch multi million dollar display. Well worth the entrance fee to keep this running for future generations.
  • The trip to the top of the tower totally worth it!
  • 2012 Visitors' Choice Award Winner for Favorite Museum
  • The National WWI Museum at Liberty Memorial shares deeply personal stories of courage, honor, patriotism and sacrifice. Through thousands of historical objects, photographs and eyewitness accounts
  • The display is well done. Lots of artifacts. The monument above has quite a view.
  • A most wonderful experience. Relaying WWI and WWI technology/tactics in all its reality. Weapons, Maps and dioramas. The gift shop was good as was the snack shop.
  • While the inside is stroller friendly, the walk there from Crown Center is anything but.
  • The museum layout is outstanding. Great visuals.
  • A fascinating journey through a devastating event in history. The Great War ripped Europe apart, defined the horrors of modern warfare, & set the stage for the rise of Fascism.
  • Incredible amount of information. The ticket is good for two days and I would suggest availing yourself of both to avoid complete mental overload. Dozens of pristine artifacts, well worth the price
