Foursquare Tips

  • Recently opened Mulino a Vino is a hidden Italian gem in the Meatpacking District. The restaurant is first and foremost a wine bar, & each dish is available in three sizes. Get the roast octopus.
  • Everything is so good in this restaurant but the peanut butter cheesecake is the best. Absolutely try it:-)
  • The staff and the wine
  • The burrata pizza is delicious
  • Everything was delicious (especially the gnocchi and burrata pizza)
  • Get schooled on Italian wines at this hidden gem on 14th street. They offer 100 wines by the glass at reasonable prices. No gimmicks, no tricks, just delicious wine and arguably better dishes.
  • Extensive and reasonably priced wine list. Try the white Sangovese!
  • Amazing food
  • So happy I found this place. The food is amazing, one of the best italian restaurants in NYC hands down. Try the hibiscus risoto, the pizza and the saffron pasta.
  • 1 small plate and 1 Med is not enough for a medium sized male but was enough for a tiny female when you include bread--which was delicious!
  • Decent food, but totally overpriced. The service was also so sloooow. We each ordered main dishes for ourselves and each item came out 10 minutes after the one before it. Skip this spot.
  • Wine, tiramisu, pizza, pasta, service, everything.
  • Best pasta in the city! Truly amazing. You can't go wrong with anything here, honestly. The wine is great two.
  • The wine list is amazing! And the food is authentic and just awesome. A fresh interpretation of Italian Classics. Love it!
  • A cute place downstairs, everything is homemade by one chef but portions are small
  • a toasty prosciutto sandwich with burrata; a crisp chickpea-flour pancake topped with tomato carpaccio; the bombolone cacio & pepe, a.k.a. pasta doughnut.
  • awesome place! delicious home made pasta, great environmental music, excellent service,... a treasury to discover in the meatpacking district
  • All the wines. Baked octopus. Pea ravioli!
  • Two medium plates if you are hungry
  • All the wines are spectacular. Pea ravioli and baked octopus were both delicious
