Blue drink
Flickr/Zanastardust

You certainly need something blue at your bridal shower, so why not make it a deliciously sweet, yet sour cocktail? The bubbles in the lemon-lime soda make it ideal for serving in the warm months, but shouldn't be turned down at any time of the year. It's also pretty easy to shake up for your guests.

Hosting a shower? Name the drink after the bride's groom and add a special touch to the glass (like a funny garnish) in a nod to him.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce blue curaçao liqueur
  • 1 ounce gin
  • ½ ounce tequila
  • ½ ounce vodka
  • ½ ounce triple sec
  • ½ ounce rum
  • 1 ounce sweet and sour mix
  • 4 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • 1 cup ice cubes, plus more for serving

DIRECTIONS

Shake ingredients (except the soda) together in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add the soda to the shaker and stir (don't shake it!). Then, once combined, strain into a glass over ice and serve with a fun straw.

Alternatively, you can make a pitcher of this (multiplying the amounts) in advance and then top with the soda just before serving in ice-filled glasses.
